Maybe you’re working through past trauma, living with chronic pain, struggling with anxiety or depression, or simply wanting to understand yourself more deeply. I work with people who are ready to face their challenges in a safe, supportive setting and want practical tools for real healing.

I’m a trauma-informed, bilingual therapist, and I specialise in EMDR, which helps reprocess traumatic memories so they carry less emotional weight. For chronic pain, I use Pain Reprocessing Therapy, trauma often lives in the body, not just the mind, and addressing that connection is where a lot of the healing happens. If that resonates, I’d be glad to help you build the life you want.

Common questions

What is EMDR therapy, and what can it help with?

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is an evidence-based therapy that helps the brain reprocess painful or traumatic memories so they stop carrying the same emotional charge. It’s well suited to trauma, PTSD, anxiety, and unresolved experiences that still feel “stuck.” Lilin uses it alongside other approaches, and we’d always discuss together whether it feels like the right fit before starting.

Yes. Lilin works in both English and Mandarin, so you can speak in whichever feels most natural.

It can. Lilin is trained in Pain Reprocessing Therapy, an approach for pain that’s amplified or maintained by the nervous system. It works with the mind-body link rather than treating pain as purely physical.

It means Lilin is registered with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario and practising under clinical supervision while completing the final requirements for full registration, a qualified, regulated therapist with an added layer of oversight.

The first step is a free 15-minute consultation, a chance to ask questions and see if it's the right fit.
